Last night we did things at FNC in a mildly interactive style.
Nothing too radical, but the opportunity in the talk for those present to contribute and guide the application of the passage. We were looking at bits of Philippians in terms of the way it relates to Paul’s first visit to Philippi back in Acts 16.
For ten days the mining town of Karratha in W.A. will not know what hit it! A team of twelve from SWAC churches – including Jono, Jamie, David and Christine from FNC – are working alongside local Christians in seeking to share Jesus with the local community.
All sound good, but judging by these photos though, it’s having a strange effect on team members…
[more...]This Sunday – August 3rd – sees a different night at FNC…
One of the most wonderful – and tragic – parts of life are relationships. A bad relationship can be extraordinarily sad and even tragic… But a good relationship can lift us to new heights in our enjoyment of life. Good relationships do make life sweeter, don’t they?
This Sunday night join us at FNC in exploring what it is to start the ultimate relationship. The relationship that can not only change everything in this life for the better, but brings us eternal life as well!
Tony Jones – consultant in children’s ministry for Anglican churches in Western Sydney is speaking, and he will talk from a powerful passage in the Bible (Luke 19:1-10) which deals with what is means to get our relationship with God sorted.
Local singer/song writer Phil Davidson will provide a brilliant musical backdrop to the night.
Maybe you’ve been wondering about God and his place in your life, maybe you haven’t. Either way, this night promises to be challenging, encouraging, inspiring and maybe even confronting… join us at:
The Factory, 28 Lawson Rd. Springwood
Via a contact with Langham Partnership International comes this request for urgent prayer for Zimbarbwe:
Urgent prayer request for Zimbabwe
News coming out of Zimbabwe this past week is truly shocking. Colleagues in the churches with whom we have worked in the Langham Preaching and Keswick programmes are sending messages urging us to pray this week, indicating that Presidential run-off elections on Friday June 27th will mark a watershed in the nation’s history…
[more...]For anyone who was asking about my reference last night to the Global Anglican Future Conference…

In regards to seeing Prince Caspian, the second film adaption in the CS Lewis Narnia Chronicles series, which date would be best for people to attend at Hoyts Penrith.
